SIT Virtual Internships

OVERVIEW

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Rolling admission until mid-December. 

ELIGIBILITY: Students must be in good academic, disciplinary, and financial standing with the university and must currently be enrolled full-time. Students must be accepted by SIT and receive permission from a host department in order to participate in the internship.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: To apply, click the "Apply Now" button at the top of the page and complete the required information.  You must also apply directly to SIT and should do so at the same time you complete the Lehigh application.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Lehigh is coordinating with SIT Study Abroad to offer these virtual international internship opportunities.  Students must be enrolled in an internship or special topics course with a host department at Lehigh in order to participate and will receive credit.  The SIT internship program will involve 12 weeks of internship (120-144 hours) and additional academic components arranged in consultation with their designated faculty mentor.

Your enrollment in this course will count toward your spring courseload and your Lehigh tuition will cover the cost.  You may disregard the costs listed on the SIT website.

While the majority of the internships do not have pre-requisites, those hosted in Spanish-speaking locations have a language requirement.
