Study Abroad from Goldsmiths, University of London on Vimeo.

This program is not available in Spring 2021.

Goldsmiths has been ranked top 50 in the world for Anthropology, Art & Design, Performing Arts (covering Music and Theatre & Performance) and Sociology – placing the university in the top 1% of all universities who participated in the rankings for these subjects. Creativity has always been the hallmark of Goldsmiths. Academic excellence and imaginative course content combine to make a place where creative minds can thrive and ideas are allowed to grow.

Because we’re just 10 minutes from the centre of London; because we have students from 114 different countries; because many of our courses offer the opportunity to spend time studying abroad, Goldsmiths truly embraces the global citizen. Students coming from other countries will find a thriving international community and enjoy the experience of studying in one of the world’s major cities.

Accommodations

London is an exciting and inspiring place to live – but we understand the cost of living in the capital can be high. We offer a range of accommodation to suit all budgets including some of the cheapest locally, and work hard to keep rents low – including using a six-figure subsidy to support halls. We have over 1,500 rooms in our halls of residence. Many halls are located in New Cross, while others are a short commute away and allow you to live in a different part of London. Our halls are very competitively priced in comparison to other local London universities. You can learn more about life in the halls here.
Finances

You can find a cost of living guide herePlease visit our finances page to explore a range of financial support available.

Student Life

We offer countless opportunities for you to make the most of your free time, from volunteering to attending events at the Students' Union. Find out how to get involved with activities at Goldsmiths and in the wider community here.

The surrounding area of New Cross has a thriving music and arts scene, fantastic restaurants, buzzing cafes, and a genuinely diverse and eclectic population. It's also been voted as the best place in South East London for renting, and because we're on a single-site campus you'll have plenty of opportunities to explore the local area.
